I am going to share with you a recap from one of my favorite senior sessions this year, this is near and dear to my heart.

This year I had the honor of being my sister's senior portrait photographer, I cannot believe she is a senior this year! She is honestly a great kid, and I'm not just saying that because we are sibilings. I am beyond proud of the person she has become and I couldn't of asked for a better person to be my sister! I love you Alex!

My sister has played hockey since she was little, we broke up her senior session into two days. We did one evening at the ice rink, then another evening at the George Eastman House; which is absolutely one of my favorite spots and we are so lucky to have it in Rochester! We are so lucky and thankful that her hockey coach allowed us to pull her from practice to photograph her senior session! He was absolutely kind enough to allow us to walk around the rink and get the shots that we were looking for!

Then a few days later I met my sister at the George Eastman House and we walked around the gardens as well as the house to capture some beautiful portraits of her. I specifically chose the George Eastman House because the options for backgrounds are truly endless, plus at golden hour; you can really get some stunning warm shots too. From one week to the next you will notice how much the Gardens truly do change, and of course from season to season as well. I am truly thankful for the staff at the George Eastman House to allow photographers to go there and photograph clients, it's a true gem in Rochester. Alex and I had tons of fun trying out different poses and ideas, we bounced some fun ideas off of one another and It was a fun collaborative time! I am super lucky and thankful that I was the one to take her senior portraits and spend some time with my sister!
