I truly enjoy family sessions! I get to meet different families with different personalities and dynamics! I believe that family sessions are so sacred, not only because you are freezing time in a photograph and you are able to look back on it in the future. But it is a great way to exchange holiday/birthday gifts with family members. I've had clients want to get a family portrait done with extended family members because grandma was celebrating a milestone birthday. From a personal stand point, some of my favorite photographs with my family members were the ones that were done at my wedding a few years back. It honestly was the first time that we were all together and had a professional take our photo.

If you are considering getting family portraits done, even for the sake of doing them! I highly recommend taking the leap and doing it! I make my family sessions fun and enjoyable! If a younger little one is done with photos I'm not going to force them to sit and pose. Sometimes kids might need to run around and have a chance of pace during a session, and that is totally fine! I'm human too and I understand!
