As the crisp air settles in and the leaves change, fall in Pittsford is a beautiful place to capture memories. Whether you're looking to update family portraits for holiday cards, celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy the beauty of fall. Fall mini sessions are the perfect way to do it.
There is something that is special about fall. The smell and sound of fallen leaves; the vibrant reds, yellows and oranges. The Fall foliage creates a beautiful background, giving each photo extra warmth and color. For those who are avid leaf peepers, we know the beauty that the trees offer in the fall.
What To Expect During Your Fall Mini Session:
Mini sessions are a great way to get professional photos, these shorter sessions are perfect for capturing the beauty of autumn without taking too much of your day. Here is what you can expect:
- I typically select the location and host minis on set dates in the fall. I do the best to make sure that the leaves are at their peak and bursting with color.
- Mini sessions are designed to be fun and stress-free. Whether you are bringing your partner, family or pets; I love being able to capture these memories for you and your family!
- Stunning gallery, after your session you will receive a collection of beautiful images
How To Have A Successful Mini Session:
To make sure your mini session goes smoothly and to get the most out of your session, here are a few tips that will help!
- Dress for the weather, fall temperatures can change make sure that you are comfortable. Think cozy sweaters and boots, something that compliments the fall season.
- Earth tones or neutrals are usually great for photos, I typically recommend staying away from busy patterns or bright colors. These things can clash with the backdrop and neon colors tend to reflect that color on your face i.e. wearing a neon green shirt will result in having a neon green reflection on your jawline.
- Arrive a little early to park and to settle in, remember if you arrive late that does cut into your mini session time.
- Don't be afraid to stroll along paths or even catch a few candid moments. Some of my favorite shots come when you are simply just having fun or being yourself.
